Jay Magelssen: Rhythm guitar and lead vocals: born 1955, Kansas City, Missouri. Got my first guitar when I was fourteen years old, taught myself to play. When I was twenty-six I took vocals and guitar lessons at the Conservatory of Music, UMKC. Started writing the lyrics and music for the 10 songs I now have, then started three bands, only to have the bottom fall out each time. Almost gave up, until I ran into drummer Jeff Sigg. We played together for three years and found Todd "showoff" Bannan, and added bass player Jerry Evans, and the rest it history! My influences were: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rush, Journey, Pink Floyd, Kansas, and Supertramp to name a few. Equipment, Gibson, Fender and Ovation Guitars, Marshall Amps, Ernie Ball and D'Addario strings, Crown amps, JBL MPRO subs and Turbosound speakers, Audio Technica mics, and Digitech effects .
